Hey Tommie, long time no see!

Big congratulations on your win!... really a great job.

(On a semi-related topic, I want to add a link to another of the bottles shown in the challenge at npcg.org, "Hopes Fountain," on my glassattic.com page dealing with resins and creating faux water. But that bottle wasn't a winner so there's indication of the maker for attribution. Would you happen to know who the person was, or know where I could find out?
...Also I'm only guessing that resins were used for both the water in the fountain and the upward sprays, but would love to find out for sure.)

Great to hear your "voice" again!

Diane B.
(better respond to my e-mail since I may never find my way back here!)

It's wonderful, Tommie. Isn't there more to the story with some last minute pre-entry drama?
It is a unique and enchanting Bottle of Hope. You deserve the recognition!

Whoo hoo Tommie! A well deserved win I'd say. He's just wonderful, very fluid in his 'stance' which isn't easy to do and such a happy chappy. I'm rather partial to buddhas myself!

Hey Tommie...Big congrats to you. I'm so happy you won and are back to claying. One of these evenings if you get some time, would love to meet you in chat again. I need some sculpting hints.

*I* always knew you were more than a pretty face.....and, I knew your Buddah would win. As one who has seen it in person, I can attest that it's completely amazing.

Congrats, dear friend....you deserve this honor and a million more...

Nice job, Tommie. I finally met you last year at Sandy Camp. Hope to see you guys again this year. Or at CHA in Jan. One of the perks of living near Anaheim is our guild getting called on for all kinds of fun jobs.
You may (or may not) remember us being on OneList or Egroups back in the day. I didn't read too many of your posts because you were an opinianated garage kit guy and I was a newbie into cutesy.

He's great, Tommie! Very much "you" without the usual (and fun) macabre flavor. A couple of questions:

How big is he?
What is the character he is holding up? ("Hope", I assume.)
How does the bottle open?

hugs,
Vickie
